Project workshop

As AI increasingly changes how organisations develop, deploy, and regulate digital systems, compliance is becoming both more important and more challenging.

We invite you to join us on 10 December 2026, 09:00–14:00 (optional programme after 12:30) at DTU campus for a morning workshop dedicated to the theme "Compliance in the age of AI". During this workshop will present the results of the DICE research project, which has explored how to create algorithmic techniques for digital compliance.

The workshop brings together a diverse group of researchers, funders, founders, public-sector professionals, and other practitioners to discuss what AI means for compliance and how new computational tools can help.

About the speakers

Alexandra Andhov

Professor Alexandra Andhov is an affiliated associate professor at the Faculty of LAW, University of Copenhagen, and co-PI of the DICE Project. She currently serves as the Chair of Law and Technology and Director of the ICT Center at the University of Auckland. Her research focuses on corporate law, capital markets, and the regulation of emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence and blockchain. She has published widely in leading law journals, including notable works such as Computational Law, which bridges computational and legal thinking. In the DICE project, she aims to develop theories and frameworks that will help us understand when and how legal computation should be applied while safeguarding the law’s core principles, spirit, and adaptability.

Hugo A. López

Hugo A. López works as an associate professor at the Technical University of Denmark. His research objectives involve the maturing of a new generation of process technologies that can adapt to citizen needs, while still be compliant with regulations and laws. Technologies should be understandable, even for people that do not have a computer science background. He is an active researcher in the business process management and formal methods communities, being organizer and PC committee of some of the flagship conferences and workshops. Prof. López actively engage in interdisciplinary and intersectorial research, advising public sector and companies in the adoption of process-centric technologies such as process mining, NLP and process-aware information systems.

Olga Kokoulina

Dr. Olga Kokoulina is an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Private Governance (CEPRI) at the University of Copenhagen. With a strong interdisciplinary background that includes advanced degrees in law, social science, and business, her research spans data protection, intellectual property, competition law, and the intersection of technology and regulation. She focuses on critical issues like algorithmic transparency, data collection, and governance. As part of the DICE project, she is working with Prof. Andhov on conceptualizing approaches to the automation of regulatory requirements and translation of normative provisions into executable code.
