Hugo A. López

Hugo A. López works as an associate professor at the Technical University of Denmark. His research objectives involve the maturing of a new generation of process technologies that can adapt to citizen needs, while still be compliant with regulations and laws. Such technologies should have a digital component, in terms of software tools that support the digitalization of work processes. Finally, technologies should be understandable, even for people that do not have a computer science background. He is an active researcher in the business process management and formal methods communities, being organizer and PC committee of some of the flagship conferences and workshops. Prof. López actively engage in interdisciplinary and intersectorial research, advising public sector and companies in the adoption of process-centric technologies such as process mining, NLP and process-aware information systems.
